Episode 230: NASA Announce Bromance Program
It doesn’t take much effort to find someone who will tell you that Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon but a complete idiot can tell you that Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon. What is even more challenging is finding someone who will tell you the total times we have been to the Moon. After watching First Man staring Ryan Gosling Shawn has a ton of questions about the NASA space Programs.
During this research Shawn discovered that the Apollo program had made it to the moon 6 times. Each time the astronauts that made the journey from Earth to Moon could not be named. That may seem rough but what if the Bros told you a story about a group of Astronauts that made it all the way to the moon and took the Eagle right at halfway to the landing spot?
Apollo 10 was the dance rehearsal for the full landing. The crew made it all the way to the Moon and took the Eagle halfway to the moon before returning to the Capsule. The question why did they stop instead of defying orders and becoming the first men to walk the moon?
Richard and Shawn make their plea for bringing back the space race and opening the Bromance Program to Mars. Offering their service to be the official Podcast of the Mars mission.
