Episode 66: King of the Cage
I recently had the chance to go to King of the Cage’s Supremacy event at the Yack Arena in Wyandotte, Michigan. It was my second MMA event this year and I have to say it was a great time. Ringside seats and great fights ten minutes from my front door. What more could I ask for? I want to give a special shout out to Jeff and Terry for making that happen, I’m very grateful for the opportunity.
Another thing I address on this episode is my guilt over predicting Jake Ellenberger’s devastating loss to Mike Perry. I wrote on Casual Picks for Casual Pricks (UFC 211 picks are HERE, btw) that Mike Perry was going to absolutely flatten Jake. One minute and five seconds into the second round, Mike Perry flattened Jake Ellenberger with a horrific standing elbow. It was tough to watch as Perry danced in celebration and the camera morbidly panned up to the unconscious body of the former top contender. Jake, if you’re reading this, for whatever reason. I just want to tell you….my bad, man. Seriously, I feel really bad about that.Next Episode: Episode 67: Drew “All Day” Morais
